Thinkpad R51 1831 processor

#1 Post by Bokonism101 » Wed May 11, 2011 9:29 pm

I have searched the threads thoroughly for a R51 1xxx model threand and cant find it. So now I'm posting.

Do any of the R51 2xxx threads apply? is the 1831 series also upgradeable to any pentium M family processors?

Welcome to the forum!

You can use any 400 Mhz Pentium M CPU, such as 735 (1.7 Ghz), 745 (1.8 ) 755 (2.0) or 765 (2.1)

Hope this helps.
