SXGA+ upgrade for X61 7675-CTO?

Is it possible to upgrade an X61 7675-CTO (non-tablet) to SXGA+? And if so, which LCD part do I need?

I know this question appears frequently, but there are so many variations of the X60/X61 and I haven't seen it addressed for non-tablet X61 models.

Thanks in advance. I love this little computer, but 1024x768 makes me claustrophobic.

Yes you can, but there are many steps to follow

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=64002 explains what needs to be done. In summary:

- new screen
- cable to connect new screen to existing lcd cable
- modified BIOS (although Linux seems to discover the new resolution without a modified BIOS)
