lid closed with Samsung Central Station

#1 Post by stephens241 » Sat May 21, 2011 12:45 pm

I have a ThinkPad X200 which I'd like to use in its docking station with a Samsung Central Station. If you haven't seen it yet, the Samsung Central Station is a wireless monitor solution. Whenever a laptop (connected with a USB dongle) is within range, the monitor receives the image signal and displays it. My question is this: Is it possible for a system like this to display a screen image when the X 200 has its lid closed? If so, how do I do this? Thanks for any response.

As long as you've changed the power settings (Control Panel>Power Options>Change what closing the lid does) so that the computer won't standby or hibernate when you close it, nothing else is required.

Just say no to the ThinkBook Pro.
