Wimax 6250 in X301?

Hello,

I have an X301 in which I installed an Intel 5350 for Wimax capability. It works great in the US on Clear and in Japan on UQ.

However, the 5350 only operates on the 2.5-2.7 GHz band. Unfortunately, I will be frequenting Korea, where the KT Wibro network is on the 2.3 GHz band.

The Intel 6250 supports this band, and there are some Thinkpad-compatible chips (part # 60Y3195) available through EBay.

Will the X301 BIOS accept this chip?
