T410s wireless not connecting when waking from sleep mode

#1 Post by fongmac » Fri May 27, 2011 10:58 am

I have a T410s which will not connect to any wireless after waking from sleep mode. The only way to connect to wireless is to reboot the machine. I've updated the bios and wireless driver but same thing. Anyone run into this issue?

T410s wireless not connecting when waking from sleep mode

Does the connectivity fail when you resume from sleep or hibernate?

Reason I ask is because somehow my T410s fails to connect only when I resumed from hibernation, not sleep. Which is why I disabled the hibernate.

Also if your laptop uses propietary router software to connect, disable stand use the windows wireless service...or vice versa..don't use two wireless services at the same time..

Side note: disabling hibernation allegedly prevents wreaking havoc with ssd's..a bonus.
