3 Year IBM Warranty Transferable?

I got a t30 with the 3 year warranty. I am looking to sell it and someone wants to know if it is transferable?? I don't know for certain.

If it's the original warranty that came with a new TP, then the warranty goes with the machine regardless of owner.
