With RMClock, I run my x100e (single core) undervolted. At 1.6Ghz I run 0.85V and at 800MHz I run 0.675V instead of 1V. The temps drop to 10 to 13 degrees Celsius. And I gained 1h battery life to reach almost 5h. On my single core at 800MHz, for Internet surfing, as long as I don't go on Youtube, it gets the job done.
RMclock v.2.35
Here's a guide
Undervolting makes your x100e running cooler
