These people unlocked my Pantech cell phones, where Pantech and AT&T both said it could not be done!
Cheap and highly recommended: http://www.unlockusa.com/unlockingservice.aspx

Are you trying to "unlock" to use on a different provider? Or unlock to use a custom rom?

This is a very important distinction. I may be able to help with either one. Let us know.
Cell phones are my specialty. Got questions? Ask away.

Thanks Harry ....

Noris* > thanks for [posting] been looking forward to this post from you -was being lazy to lookup your email eddy to write to you

Firstly; I am basically wanting to LEARN about ANDRIOD GSM OS; since I have some Unix linux tools so have managed to SAVE the 'factory OS' to an external SSD. I can see the SUPERUSER but not sure if thats ATT or SamSung that owns that user> so at moment its scanning for 'password' I should have it soon.....

Since I am too busy with work things (travelling hotels taxi and aiports take up most of my days and nights) I am using my spare time to play with this ANDRIOD GSM @!@ I do know its a but late in game for me but then I have lots of other more usefull things to do :P lol ,,,, and APPLE iOS GSM is kinda down pat! Ever since I wrote the STEPS to do VPN in APPLE iPhone ....and they end up USING IT (everyone knows about my LACK OF SPELL CHECK - so if look at that section of APPLE IPHONE MANUAL - am sure u can guess who wrote that part !! LOL) and just too lazy to go back and re READ some of what I type and spell/grammer check ,,, so I rely on T9 & self correct of IPAD.....so I just want to play around and my real target = come up with steps for:
1) reduced lag WIFI CONNECT TIMES (scan/seek lockto and connectto = seems way to lojg formy comfort)
2) Come up with a 'unlock code/script' sicne it appears ANDRIOD has followed the 'standard GSM codes" for comms API.....(be nice to be able to Unlock any brand phone with one single script etc)
3) API wrork < connect to andriod> will/wont be made public as it might end up being used in commercial apps > sorry pple>

So will appreciate any links toools tips etc ,,,, and am too cheap to pay someoen to unlock it ,, as I PAID already once to the ATT ( they ought to do it for free in my view) but then I am not wanting this tread to end up a debate about PHONE locking...

Thanks again for the links so far
