2200BG on Slackware 10.1...

i've tried and tried to get the ipw2200 setup to work on my thinkpad, but still cannot. i recompiled the kernel to 2.6.11 with the options specified.. and i believe i followed the rest of the directions (they aren't the best directions), and still nothing. if anyone on here using ipw2200 on their thinkpad i would really appreciate some help.
