Help Replacement screen for X300

Had a bit of an accident and have smashed my lcd on the x300

Just been looking direct replacements are soo expensive..

Is there a cheaper alternative can I drop in another screen i dont mind loosing high res..

Otherwise will have to sell it on and just replace.. the original screen is just too much

For £200 seems reasonable, seller is also UK based. There was also a seller from Malaysia I saw once, but can't find him now, who had sold a number of these to happy buyers.

there are no compatible screens for these X30x series laptop, since they use a 13.3 inch ultra thin profile LCD screen which is rarely used in the laptop industry.

Still abit too high if it was half the price we would be talking,
But at that price its prob better to sell the laptop as it is...

I feared it was the case that only the orginal screens could be used.. but was hoping I was wrong.

Also anyone have any info on the wxga screen from a sl300
They have 40 pins too on the connector

Just watched the vids of the 2 lcds looks like a no no
