Don't know if anyone here has seen this (story on GIZMODO). Some of the background story is priceless. I wonder if Germany ever changed that restriction on computer color?

It looks very familiar after reading the Gicmodo one

I searched back then when I read PC mag's article, and recently on the Gizmodo one, still cant find any reference to these european regulations in any form other then them relating to Puratain religious stuff. Maybe is was some europian OSHA equivalent?

Good grief. How similar. I was wondering if the German government wasn't also trying to distance itself from a "certain other insignia" involving black and red. Political Correctness in the extreme?

Closest related official info I can find is here, perhaps buried a few levels down, or they might actually have dropped that arcane item and it no longer appears.

I prefer to work with white bezels instead of black ones. White in terms of grey, plastic white like the white eizo uses in their s series.
