Turn off internal video card when using Advanced dock +card

i just bought an Advanced dock for my t60p

i would like to preserve the condition of my internal card (firegl), so it is possible to turn it off completely when using the external video card?
so it will not produce any heat

i dont need multi monitor setup, just one big display anyway

you can't switch it off as such. But you can disable it through windows system, i am not sure whether that helps.
