Over five hours with WiFi on (T42p GVU)

#1 Post by asiafish » Wed Mar 30, 2005 11:51 pm

I am just in awe, I've never had this kind of battery life from a laptop unless I slow everything down, dim the screen and turn off the wireless. I had everything on maximum and it ran more than five hours (about 5:20).

I LOVE this machine!

It must have been a 9 cell. The best I have done with a 6 cell was little over 4 hours just listening to mp3 and word processing. I think that was still pretty good considering that it was only a 6 cell battery

Yes, the T42p comes with a 9 cell. I ordered a 6 cell and will be testing that over the weekend.
