Just installed SSD in X220.

I bought an Intel SSDSA2M160G2LE. Armed with a cheap Sata to USB3.0 enclosure ( my X220 is an i7) and Acronis software I cloned my existing 320GB drive.

Attempt 1. I let Acronis do the automatic disk clone. This worked good and I was able to boot the SSD. The problem is it shrunk the recovery partition from 12Gb to 9GB and Lenovo's software complained about the lack of free space on the recovery partition.

Attempt 2. I manually cloned the disk adjusting the recovery partition to 12GB. MS Office detected the "Hardware Change" and needed to be re-activated. It wouldn't take my activation code and it also wouldn't activate over the phone. I suspect I exceeded the 3 install limit, but it said invalid Office product or something? I removed Office and reinstalled it from the DVD but the results were the same. I'm scratching my head on that, but Since I really didn't use it on the X220 I just uninstalled it. Everything else is good and I'm loving it.

I picked up an older Lenovo branded Toshiba 128GB Micro-SATA that I'll probably install as a data disk if I need it.
