Machine: T43p (fully loaded - 2GB RAM, WD 320GB HDD)
OS: Windows XP SP3
Browser: Google Chrome (latest ver.)
Drivers: all are latest versions (checked via ThinkVantage System Update)
I've a problems with Flash performance, i.e. when YouTube plays fullscreen videos with any resolution set (360p, 480p - doesn't matter) - better say I am experiencing video lags each ~10 seconds. I haven't had such problems in Windows 7 from which I downgraded to a good old XP about 2 - 3 months ago. I've also checked the Task Manager and it seems the CPU is not used for 100% when the lags are experienced. Any ideas what could be a wrong?

Re: Problem with Flash performance
It may be trying to use hardware acceleration - what happens if you watch a video in ie or turn off hardware acceleration in chrome? - I'd imagine that windows 7 does a better job of balancing the load across the gpu and cpu, rather than only using the gpu.

Re: Problem with Flash performance
Try a different browser; Chrome has it's own implementation of Flash within it's browser, and tends to do funky things.

Re: Problem with Flash performance
Bingo, I disabled Flash plugin in Chrome (chrome://plugins/) and I downloaded classic Flash Player for other browsers from Adobe's web. Now the YouTube plays all 480p videos without lags
