Intel 4695AGN with the X32

#1 Post by drukman » Fri Jul 08, 2011 11:56 am

I read that the Intel 4695AGN runs much cooler than the Atherus cards (I have the AR5004G on my X32).
So, I was wondering - will the Intel 4695AGN card work with on the X32 ?

Thanks a lot - Yaron.

4965AGN may run cooler than certain Atheros cards, but definitely not cool per se.

In any case, as far as I know it is only available in mini-PCIe form factor, while the X32 take mini-PCI cards, so they are not compatible.

Do you have heating problems with your X32? If the Wifi card is to blame, you can try Intel 2200BG.

No idea.

Are you really experiencing heat issues related to the Wifi adapter?
