Previous Bios & Embeeded Controller versions

Have a possible root kit infection in my Bios for a t41. Would like to reload (reflash ) but because the versions are the same the flash updater sees it as not needing to be reloaded. Hoping to go to a Bios and embedded controller combination previous to the current Bios (3.23) & EC (3.04) so that I can eventually re upgrade back to the current versions. IBM / Lenovo only have the current versions available. Can anyone direct me to previous versions so I could try this.-PTup.

If you go to the T41 BIOS update page:

scroll to the bottom and you will see a table that has a column titled "Previous release". Each name is a link to download that version. The same thing exists for the Embedded Controller versions:

Do a search for TDSSKiller rootkit killer from Kaspersky.

It's free, it works, and it's a lot easier then reloading BIOSes.

Ray, thanks a lot. Found them and got the downloads. Don't know why Ibm/Lenovo didn't know enough about their own site to give me that info.-PTup.
