X41 Tablet Windows 7 fresh insall HAL Initialization Error

Hey all,

I just picked up a x41t last night to fill the void of the T42 I sold. Upgraded to 2.5 GB of ram and proceeded to install Windows 7 Ultimate and it actually finishes installing and gets me to the desktop. Upon reboot from updates it freezes at the "starting windows" screen then goes to the infamous blue with HAL Initialization Failed error.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

The BIOS is the latest? Reset to defaults?
