Any ideas? Neither the standard IBM store or SPP site have them.
When the Hell are the Real T43s Coming?
When the Hell are the Real T43s Coming?
I've been checking IBM's site every week. I'm tired of seeing the same three 1024x768 models. When are the higher resolution (1400x1050) powerhouse T43s coming? When are they going to be customizable?

The education site says 50 days. I mean T43P 15' models. For T43P 14' model, it is 20 days.
Just call them and order.

Nobody knows for sure I guess, but IBM could be trying to clear out the T42s, or maybe there aren't enough T43s for IBM to be comfortable posting them on their website (supplies of Sonoma chipsets still tight last I heard).

Has IBM just lost interest in the PC business now that the sale is a few months away?
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
I called IBM yesterday regarding an order I placed for a T43p several weeks ago. He couldn't even give me an ETA, not that they are necessarily correct anyway. When I check the order status online it just says it's "in process". Seems kinda crazy considering Dell is shipping 2.13 GHz notebooks now.
I'm not sure if I'm wlling to wait more than another 2 weeks.
