T60/T61 Mobo Swap

I just bought a 14" T61 4:3 Intel GPU laptop. It has a 1024x768 screen resolution. Does anyone know if the 14" 4:3 motherboard could be swapped into a 15" T60 with a 1400x1050 Flexview display and work properly?

Yes, but it's NOT a completely direct swap and some finagling is involved...there were some threads here in the T6x area addressing the issues at hand...

Yes, you can swap 4:3 T61 and T60 mobos forth and back. In both cases you need to file two screw holes on structure frame in the area around modem card. There are numerous instruction about that on internet and in this forum in particular. Try to search.
