i want to put a bluetooth card in there so i dont have to open up my laptop to add it...

All IBM X30s and X31s have that CF slot. It's one of the reason I bought the model I did. I've made a point over the years of sticking to CF in my digital cameras and such. Being able to pull a card from my camera, or my daughter's camera and just slap it into my laptop is an awesome convenience. (why I won't buy an x40, which uses SD rather than CF)

I've no idea though, whether you can stick a CF bluetooth card into that slot. That's an interesting question.

i was looking at this

and just use the cf slot because i have a card reader in my pc card slot. i figured it should work but i dont want it to stick out to far from the computer..
