Hi,
The problem I have is minor but annoying. Left mouse button on my X200s keyboard squeaks every time I press it and that's very annoying - it's definately mechanical problem with that.
Now, I'm still under warranty with this laptop till 2012. If I call lenovo UK support, would they send me replacement keyboard without sending laptop to them?
Other question, are batteries under warranty as well? I mean, I've got 9 cell and it shows 80% of it's original capacity at the moment.
I'm totally green if it comes to warranty on thinkpads as I never had to make use of any warranty in the past
Thanks for help.

Yep, they'll help you out.
It's not working to spec.
If you know how to replace it yourself it saves them money too so they're more than willing to just send you the keyboard.

And that's exaclty what they told me on the phone:) New keyboard will be with me tomorrow - great service. I have opened many thinkpads before, even for CPU swap, so keyboard is the easiest job:)
Look like case solved.

That's ThinkPad service. It's why I've only bought ThinkPads for the past 2 decades (except for my Dell Mini 9, which was an awesome little netbook)
