Just installed a new Seagate Monumentus XT 500GB drive.
Works fantastically ... the way the original should have. Quick and Quiet!
However, with the new Windows 7 64-bit install, I have run across an old issue.
The TP screen never fully powers off, even though it is told to.
There is a very slight "glow" that can be seen across the room at night.
I have checked all of my drivers and everything seems to be up to date.
Even have the lately Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox installed (like it much better than the old version).
Any thoughts?
ThinkPad display does not fully turn off
