X61S TYPE's that came preinstalled with WWAN card

Hi,
How can I find which X61S units (TYPE numbers) came pre-installed with the WWAN card ?

Grab a copy of the Hardware Maintenance Manual from here:

Look in the Parts List section and you should find a listing of the TYPE numbers that shipped with WWAN option. Many of them will be CTO (Configure To Order) machines so that may not be much help. The other thing you can do, if you have access to the serial number of the system, is to plug it into the Parts Lookup page and see if the WWAN card is listed. That page can be found here:

Looks like I was taking the wrong route...

I am trying to find out which X61S units were shipped with two fans or at least has the option for adding the fan.

I was under the impression that it can be done with all models, but this thread shows otherwise:

Any ideas how can I find out which TYPE's supports the second fan?
