adapter gobi 2000... to activated evdo....

can anyone tell me how i can use evdo not verizon or sprint.................. in gobi 2000

can i use for another network evdo

Only if the EV-DO service uses exactly the same bands/configuration etc as Verizon.

Since EV-DO implementations were never anywhere as standardised as 3G service implementations, the chance of that being the case is very low.

thanks for the reply my question

in my country for evdo they have the same band i see the specification for gobi it's suppor for 1900 and 800 but i confuse how i can configure for evdo becuase it's lock for verizon and sprint.... i can't make custom setting for evdo

Hi gp9june, please see the info in the thread at http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=80963 which discusses a similar issue. I'm not sure about the GOBI 2000 card, but it seems that in theory all you need to do is bring the details of the ESN # to your provider's service centre and register it with your provider (maybe SmartFren?? :-D)
