Runcore T50, 550MB/s read, 470MB/s write (ie similar performance to OCZ Vertex 3)
"...60GB for $198 or 120GB for $358..."
Not cheap, but it will fit into your machine without disassembling the SSD (see my workaround thread for SSD's in this forum)
Also available the I50 with 280 MB/s read, 270 MB/s write
"...$178 for 60GB to $308 for 120GB..."
So you might as well go for the T50 if you're going to buy an mSATA SSD. Why waste your money on an Intel 310 now?

80GB Intel 310 is cheaper than this 60GB runcore. Not everybody need that extra speed. And the actual performance of that sandforce-based SSD in everyday life remains a question (it is possible that e.g. boot times will be slower on sandforce; also, on your link they only mention linear performance, not random 4K one), as well as its reliability.iamdmc wrote:Why waste your money on an Intel 310 now?
So why waste your money on a not-yet-released runcore now, when there are cheaper proven intel 310?
Lifebook P1032 (1024*600 8.9") => Averatec AV1000 (WXGA 10.6") => Kohjinsha SH6 (1024*600 7.2") => Sharp M4000 (WXGA 13.3") => X200-AFFS, dead => X200s-AFFS, later -PVA => X220 4290RV5 + Intel 310 80GB, T420s 4173KSU + FHD IPS + Sandisk Z400s 128GB
Re: mSATA SSD users rejoice - 550MB/s is on the way (July)
Runcore is one of the top SSD players in the market, so I think the good news here is that yet another manufacturer has committed to mSATA. It can only mean competition and better products/variety for the consumer.

Of course, but that doesn't mean we should start abandoning intel now, even before runcore's are actually releasedHarryc wrote:Runcore is one of the top SSD players in the market, so I think the good news here is that yet another manufacturer has committed to mSATA.
