two permanent lines appearted on T420 screen

Hello,

Please look at the pics below to see my problem:

Basically, these lines just appeared out of nowhere while I was working on the laptop.
Didn't hit the laptop, or applied exessive preasure prior to this, have no clue as to why
these lines appeared...

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem and how I can fix it?

p.s. - I don't live in USA but bought the laptop while I was at USA, directly from lenovo.
my warranty should still apply, right?

Do the lines appear while the laptop is attached to an external monitor?. If not, then you need a new LCD. Contact Lenovo service for warranty repair. If it's an international warranty, then it should apply.
