ATI FireGL V5200

Any issues with the ATI FireGL V5XXX? on the t60? Like the nvidia cards?
WTB t61, with 16:10 14" screen screen. and Intel graphics. - 7/09

I've seen a few go bad, but nothing on the scale of the T61 nVidia issues. They run a tad on the hot side though. Idle is @ 65*C.

Keep them cool and they will run just fine. Use the T61p fan without the silicon pad, use arctic silver and you're set.
BTW: the FireGL has the 18°C temperature offset as well (for TPFanControl)

OK, I don't believe I've ever seen either suggestion/statement discussed here before. Can you be more specific about the fan and the temp offset? Use a T61P fan in a T60? :o The V5200 did not come in a T61 or T61P.
