Next Thinkpad Mobile workstation?

Given that HP has awesome IPS screen in their 15" and 17" mobile workstations and that Dell has even better IPS screen in its M4600 laptop, - I think we have a pretty good chance that next ThinkPad mobile workstation, say "project w600" will have it, on top of whatever latest hardware, and probably Win 8 by then.

Fingers crossed, it will be released in about a year or so. Standard release schedule for T/W models is about 1-1.5 years

In the last years, standart release schedule is once a year on spring (shortly after new intel cpus release).
Also, with the current lenovo naming scheme, W600 would indicate 16" workstation from 2009. What you're waiting for is probably W521/W530 and W730.

i wish they would release the w7xxds models again .. i think soon i will be able to afford one
