COMPLETED: Thinkpad X41 Tablet 1869-5CU

Hello,
I have Thinkpad X41 (model in the subject) with defunct battery and a broken connection between power connector and system board. To get it running again one would have to solder it back together (I don't have necessary skills, and besides that I've got another Thinkpad from work recently). Other than the battery, which I suppose, died because of large number of charge-discharge cycles due to the lose connection from power cable. The computer, when I was using it, was in working condition.

I'm tempted to let it go for free, provided that the person interested in taking it, will either pick it up (in New York) or organize transport within reasonable time frame.
