Video Mirroring

#1 Post by tomartom » Thu Jul 21, 2011 7:23 am

I am very excited about the release of the much anticipated Lenovo Tablet. As a school teacher I would like to use the tablet for use with a projector and smartboard. Information thus far is sketchy about specific functionality, so I thought if I could ask if it is probable that this tablet can video mirror to a projector.

Many thanks in advance

to the best of my knowledge, all android tablets that support video-out via HDMI support mirror output .. Very rarely, there is an option like Mirror-only, otherwise you should have other options such as remote-display only etc etc.,
nevertheless, i am exited too ... just picked up a asus transformer the other day .. from a local store over here in NYC (j&r) .. i am planning to return it and have store credit and wait-out for this bad boy to come out !!!

any release date floating out there ???

It will mirror the display via the HDMI output. There is a clip online that shows the screen settings menu with an option to select HDMI to enable the mirroring, and Lenovo has confirmed it.
