I'm thinking of buying a X201t on ebay, but would like to find out how to differentiate the refurbished models and the used models.
As I understand it, the refurbished models tend have a 1 year warranty as well as a model ending in CTR. Is there any other telltale sign?
Thanks a lot!
Refurbished models
Re: Refurbished models
That would depend on who refurbed it. If it was Lenovo, it's likely to have a one year warranty, at least that's how it is in the US. I don't know about Singapore. If it was by someone else, it probably only has whatever the original factory warranty is unless they messed it up in the process. Then all bets are off. I don't recall my refurbed Thinkpads ending in CTR, but I don't remember if I looked.
