Battery problem on X200s

X200, X201, X220 (including equivalent tablet models) and X300, X301 series specific matters only.

Battery problem on X200s

Machine is 2 years old. Yesterday the battery which was reported as 100% charged failed to keep the computer alive when unplugged, and just gives a fast flashhing on the battery icon. Before this the battery was surviving4-5 hrs and I saw no dedregation.

Is it just a dead battery?

What does Lenovo power manager say about the battery?

No idea. The battery manager woul dappear to be a Windows application, which I do not run

You have (2) options. Either try your existing battery in another machine, or get another battery to try in yours.
