T22: What does ThinkPad button do?

#1 Post by Nolonemo » Sat Apr 02, 2005 11:36 am

I did a fresh install of XP Pro on my T22, I'd like to map something useful to the ThinkPad button, which is now useless.

I've installed all the T22 drivers and utiliites (except for Access Manager), and I've tried the ThinkPad button mapper posted here, but couldn't get it to work.

Query:
1. Is the T22 ThinkPad button looking for a specific application in a specific location, and if so, what is the application and location (I saved an image of the factory load before fomatting the HD, so I can retrieve it).

2. Any tips on getting the TP button to function with the button mapper applet?

Thanks

You must be running the TPHOTKEY Utility (THHKMGR.exe) in your startup sequence.
