Pricing Guidance Needed--Top of the Line X31 Package

Mint Condition X31 28847WU
1.7 GHZ Pentium M
1 GB RAM
20 GB HD
802.11a/b/g
10/100/1000 Ethernet
V92 Modem
Still under warranty

X3 Ultrabase (46P7912) w/Floppy Drive
X30 Series Extended Life Battery (02K7041) (attaches to X31 docking connecter)

I love this computer and set up, but I now have to have the additional resolution of at least an SXGA+ screen. I really have no idea what a fair price for the package would be, and I would really appreciate any informed input any of you may have.

Just out of curiosity: Why did you put a 20GB drive in such a system??

The 7200 rpm 60GB drive that I wanted was not a good value from IBM compared with the price for the drive aftermarket, so I ordered the system from IBM with the smaller drive replaced it immediately with the 60 GB drive that I purchased aftermarket. Drives are not very expensive, and I figured it is easier switch the drives back and keep my data on my existing drive than transfer data around when I sell the system. (If someone really wanted the 60 GB drive, I could include it instead of the 20 GB one). The 20 GB drive that originally came with the system has not been used.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Based on your comments, I will include a 7200 RPM 60 GB drive with the system (instead of the 20 GB drive). Also, I agree with those of you who suggested including a port replicator, so I will also do that, too. Along with the X3 UltraBase, this should be a good value for someone.

Although the pricing still seems tough to nail down, this seems to be a sophisticated group that recognizes quality and can differentiate units, so I am going to sell the package to the highest bidder. There may be a few non-forum people who would be interested, as well.

By the way, I am now told that I have to get a unit with a UXGA screen--I will scroll a lot less, but I hope I do not go blind.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to help. I really appreciate it.
