Modify Access Connection to support new wireless card?

#1 Post by jazzaddict » Fri Aug 05, 2011 9:24 am

Guys,

I've recently installed an intel Ultimate-N 6300, but it couldn't be detected by access connections, but works fine with windows wireless service. I had read somewhere there's a file in access connection where you can modify the device ID to support wireless cards that don't have lenovo FRU. Funny thing is FRU 60Y3193 is supported by ThinkPad W700, not X61.
