t400 Ethernet goes out on LCD off

This is kind of bizarre. My t400 drops it's ethernet connection whenever the screen turns off. Any ideas?

Have a look in ThinkVantage Access Connections, there is a energy setting there for wireless and wired network. You could also check the driver's energy settings in the windows device manager. Device manager>Right click the ethernet card>Properties
