T400 UEFI Support

#1 Post by hunterman223 » Sat Aug 06, 2011 10:46 am

Looking through the Lenovo blog I found this: http://www.lenovoblogs.com/insidethebox ... uefi-bios/

A T400 is shown booting up with a UEFI BIOS. Does anyone know anything more about this, or where I can get said BIOS? I looked into CoreBoot but it looked very complicated and is not guaranteed to work and be compatible anyway.

I don't think that was something they ever released to consumers. If I remember correctly that was just an engineering test platform they used to work on the UEFI BIOS. The T410 was the first one they actually put a UEFI on.
