Hi All:
Just purchased a new T520 to replace my old T60 which died when coffee got spilled on it. All my s/w and data is on my HDD on the T60 (was running Win7 with all updates). I need to use the HDD of the T60 in my T520 until I get time to rebuild the s/w in the T520.
Will I be able to put the HDD of the T60 in the T520 and have it operational?
Thanks,
Harold
HDD compatibility of T60 and T520?
Re: HDD compatibility of T60 and T520?
Maybe, give it a shot. The worst that can happen is it will throw a BSOD at you.

Re: HDD compatibility of T60 and T520?
I'd switch SATA to Compatibility mode, then boot it. Uninstall existing Matrix Storage drivers, install newest Rapid Storage drivers. Reboot and change SATA to AHCI. Boot and run System Update. Should be workable.
