Free T40 items

#1 Post by cnelson » Mon Aug 15, 2011 1:24 pm

I have the following ThinkPad T40 items available:
- 1 x IBM AC Adapter (FRU 08K8205)
- 1 x IBM ThinkPad Mini-Dock, Type 2878 (FRU 92P3046) with AC Adapter (FRU 02K7086) and documentation
- 1 x IBM Ultrabay Slim Li-ion battery (FRU 08K8191), 3-cell
- 1 x IBM Li-ion battery (FRU 92P1091), 6-cell
- 1 x OnCore Li-ion battery (Model NB510, replaces 08K8214), 6-cell
- 1 x ThinkPad nylon case for a bay device
- 1 x THE POUCH neoprene carrying sleeve; custom-sized for T40
- set of four recovery CDs titled "Product Recovery CD for ThinkPad T40, T40p Type 2373, 2374, 2375, 2376, 2378, 2379".
- Disc 1 of 4, March 2003, P/N 01R8066, XP-P, EN, FRU P/N 01R8046
- Disc 2 of 4, March 2003, P/N 01R8086, XP-P, EN, FRU P/N 01R8046
- Disc 3 of 4, March 2003, P/N 01R8106, XP-P, EN, FRU P/N 01R8046
- Disc 4 of 4, March 2003, P/N 01R8126, XP-P, EN, FRU P/N 01R8046
- 1 x Lenovo 1GB PC2700 DDR-333 SO-DIMM (FRU 31P9835)
- documentation for T40

These devices all work (of course, the batteries have various levels of remaining life). They are available to anyone who wants them and will pay for the shipping (from ZIP code 87111) --- they fit in a USPS Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box which can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. for $13.95. If desired, I have the original T40 and Mini-Dock boxes/packaging and can send the items in the original boxes.

Well, count me in queue, too, for a couple of things only (in the remote case that they're still available, that is)
X31 2672-C6J
IBM 9401-P03 (As/400 "portable")
A crowd of assembled desktops, a jungle of cables... and a Palm m515

Items have been claimed.

If anyone is interested in the Recovery CDs, I have ISO-images that I could make available.
