T420 keyboard noise suppression... where is it?

I don't see an option to enable it in the keyboard settings. I was looking forward to this greatly. While I like the keyboard so far, it is a bit loud.

Okay, I found a checkbox related to VOIP chatting, but that is useless to me.

Did I make a mistake, thinking that Lenovo had implemented something really useful using destructive interference? Does their feature only suppress noise transmitted over a wire?

Yeah, it only suppresses kb noise from being picked up by the two microphones in the lid.
