T420 Webcam Framerate

What frame rates are people getting with the T420 webcam? I'm only getting 7-8 fps at 720p even though my cpu usage is 1-2%... is there any way to increase that?

Using the skype settings preview, mine looks to be 30-60.

I don't know how to test it at 720p

Also note: low light will force longer exposure for each frame, slowing it down.

I'm using virtualdub to record, by the way. I get 30 fps at 640x480, anything more and it starts to drop.
