T43 System Recovery Error

Hello everyone, I recently attempted to use the Access IBM partition to recover my hard drive to factory settings. However, with every precaution in place the partition didn't recover the OS completely. I am currently stuck at a "NTLDR is missing" message on my screen. I have called Lenovo UK and US to no avail as they said that the "Image was no longer available" or "The image is unavailable for your language." So far I haven't found any recovery CD's for my system due to its type and Country specifications. The main question I have is if country really matters? Could I potently use a US version with my laptop?
specs are as follows:

IBM T43 (UK)
Type: 2668-44G
OS: XP Professional

If you folks have any other questions please ask. Lastly I do want to have a rescue and recovery partition. Thanks.

It would seem to be worse. There simply is no OS anymore. In fact the recovery only made the folders and whatever is in them is corrupt. Shame that it was the original software I was intending to save.

Put a WTB (Want To Buy) ad in the Marketplace forum for Recovery CDs.
You need the ATI version.
The US version is fine, just change the Keyboard layout during (or after) setup from En-US to En-UK.
Everything else is the same.
