x201 and F5521gw

Hello,

anyone tried this ?

i install this card in my x201s (with zenderbios) and when i switch on the thinkpad, the lenovo logo comes on the
screen and then the bios make an one minute pause ... when the minute are over win7 are loading and the card
are known and works ...

But why the bios makes an one minute pause ?

I also tried the f3507g: works without pause
Gobi 2000: the same, without pause

When i install the F5521gw in my x200, no problem, no pause, switch on and win7 are loading

Why the x201 makes this problem ?

anyone can help ?

Wich X200 you have?

I'm interested in buying F5521gw for my 7458-CTO, as it should work with free 3G service wich started in PL recently

If you have problems on x201 (wich is wierd, as your x200 works without problem) try taping pin20 of the module.. If it doesn't help, there are modified BIOSes with these modules whitelisted. It voids warranty of course

hello,

i have an x201s and have tried 2 different bios (Zender also) and also with this 2 bios i have the 1 minute pause at power on.
Pin20 tapped the same result.

anyone another idea ???
