Again: IBM TP2* batteries: Worth the IBM price?

I need to replace my TP21 battery; I see there are a ton of them on 'Flea-Bay'.
I'd like to get a sampling of opinion on whether or not the IBM LiIon's are inferior or superior products than the generic counterparts ['flea-bay' or any afetrmarket builder-retailer]??

Anyone 'been there, done that' w/either type of replacement battery?

I'm in the same boat, but also would like a recommendation for one of the eBay third party sellers, some of them are selling higher capacity batteries than the IBM OEM which is attractive.

Findrivr, one thing about any L-Ion battery is that it loses capacity just from aging, even if not used. One of the things I worry about with eBay IBM OEM sellers is that they got hold of some stock that was manufactured in 2001 or so and already has lost 25% of its capacity.

For example, I just got a second hand T22. The battery info told me that the battery only had 22 cycles on it, but since it had manufactured in 6/01 (and first used 9/01) its capacity had dropped from 38.8 wh to 28.3 wh!

I've gotten new OEM (IBM) T30 batteries from Ebay for my T23 and a friend's T21 and they have worked great. Manufacture date has been from 2003 and I'm getting around 98-99% of design capacity.
