I have an old z61p with a hdd module (don´t know if that is the right term for it) .
Will it fit in the t410?

If you meant the HDD Ultrabay adaptor (it is a tray that goes inside the ultrabay to which you can install a 2.5" HDD) - I don't think so. From what I can see on Thinkwiki and Lenovo's site.

The newer T4xx series have the "serial" ultrabay slim bay.
The T6x and presumably the Z6x have the older ultrabay slim bay.
Confusing!
They both take SATA drives. But I think the interface to the Thinkpad is different.
Same with the optical drives. From my research I don't believe an optical drive from T6x/Z6x will fit into the T4xx etc.

I also think they are both physically the same size (9.5mm)

I could also be completely wrong!!!
When I get my T420s I will test it out with my existing HDD adaptors and optical drives.
