Removing 6-cell battery on X300

#1 Post by JSpira » Thu Sep 01, 2011 11:33 pm

I know I must be missing the obvious but I don't see how to pop out the battery after hitting "unlock".

Based on the form factor, I presume it goes away from the inserted portion but I'm clearly missing a step.

Appreciate the help in advance. Thanks.

Thanks, Harry. That's what I thought but it wouldn't come out (I suspect no one has changed the battery in 3 years). Finally, with some convincing and the knowledge from your post that I was doing it the right way, it came out.
