Brigthness step when controlled via hotkeys
Hi,
recently (after some update perhaps) I noticed my W510 started to change brightness in bigger steps than 1. If I set the brightness to 1 and then I start increasing the brigthness by pressing Fn+Home, OSD shows following levels:
1 - 6 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15
Those steps between 1, 6 and 8 are really too big.
Before this, it was working normally, i.e. 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15
Any ideas?

Try a previous version of the Hotkey Features Integration driver.

Strange and sad. I started to experience the same issue again later (most probably due to some updates) and decided to solve it again. I uninstalled current hotkey features integration package and installed 3.33. It did not help. And even while it was uninstalled, I tried fn+home / fn+end to see how it works without the package and noticed those big brighness steps next to dimmed screen. It starts to change the brightness in small steps after few initial big steps, so it's just like before. I guess it's not related only to the Hotkey Features Integration package then. What else could it be? BIOS?

You may try the power management as well, it resolved my issues with osd. Both driver and utility.
