Hi,
My X60 laptop emits a high pitch, annoying sound when it is running from battery and Wifi and bluetooth are both on. When I turn bluetooth off, the sound stops for some seconds, but then it comes back again. I've seen this problem, and the solution was to put the CPU's power saving mode to Disabled in BIOS. However, when I do that, the laptop starts to get very hot. While seeing a video on youtube, it gets around 75 Celsius. The other recommendation was to insert a USB stick, so noise will be more silent. Are there any "REAL" solution for this problem?
Thanks for your help, and sorry if this topic was already on this forum. I could not find such a topic after searches.
