T400 battery issue?

#1 Post by wujstefan » Thu Sep 08, 2011 11:04 am

A recent problem of mine: I have a nice T400 with 6-cell batt (43 cycles). I have noticed that, even when my tp is off (not in standby mode or hibernated, just OFF) it still consuming my battery at rate of about 1Wh. That's way too much. The problem is recent, never had such before. What should I do? Is my batt fatigued or what?

Do you have any usb devices plugged in. Believe there is a setting in some bioses that allow you to supply power to a usb device even when your computer is off. Suggest you check the bios :)

And that was exactly it.
Restore default in BIOS did the job.
TY ^^
